Tom Gresham
''Gun Talk'' (also known as ''Tom Gresham's Gun Talk'') is an American syndicated radio program hosted by Tom Gresham. It currently runs on 270+ radio stations across the United States. Debuting in 1995, the show covers topics including firearms, shooting, hunting, and gun policy. The show broadcasts from Mandeville, Louisiana. Host Tom Gresham is a son of Grits Gresham, who hosted the ABC TV show ''The American Sportsman'' from 1966 to 1979. Firearm
A firearm is any type of gun designed to be readily carried and used by an individual. The term is legally defined further in different countries (see Legal definitions). The first firearms originated in 10th-century China, when bamboo tubes containing gunpowder and pellet projectiles were mounted on spears to make the portable fire lance, operable by a single person, which was later used effectively as a shock weapon in the Siege of De'an in 1132. Shooting
Shooting is the act or process of discharging a projectile from a ranged weapon (such as a gun, bow, crossbow, slingshot, or blowpipe). Gun Politics In The United States
Gun politics within American politics is defined by two primary opposing ideologies about civilian gun ownership. Those who advocate for gun control support increased regulation of gun ownership; those who advocate for gun rights oppose increased restriction of gun ownership. These groups often disagree on the interpretation of laws and court cases related to firearms and of the effectiveness of firearms regulation on crime and public safety.
