Tom Gladdis
Tom Gladdis (born 24 February 1991 on the Isle of Wight) is a racing driver, currently competing in the FIA Formula Two Championship. Career Formula BMW Gladdis made his circuit racing debut in the Formula BMW UK series in 2007, after being one of five drivers selected for a scholarship. Competing for Nexa Racing, Gladdis ended up fourteenth in the championship, in its final season before being merged into Formula BMW Europe, with a solitary top ten finish at Snetterton. Gladdis also competed in two rounds of the Formula BMW ADAC series for Team Zinner at Hockenheim, amassing eight points to finish 32nd in the championship, and sixteenth out of all rookies. He also competed in the pan-Asian series for Ao's Racing Team, as a team-mate to Sebastián Saavedra. The 2011 FIA Formula Two Championship season was the third year of the FIA Formula Two Championship. The championship began on 17 April at Silverstone and finished on 30 October at the Circuit de Catalunya, after eight double-header rounds and all (excluding Silverstone) in support of International GT Open racing weekends. Road Atlanta (known for sponsorship reasons as Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta) is a road course located just north of Braselton, Georgia, United States. The facility is utilized for a wide variety of events, including professional and amateur sports car and motorcycle races, racing and driving schools, corporate programs and testing for motorsports teams. Road America is a motorsport road course located near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, United States on Wisconsin Highway 67. It has hosted races since the 1950s and currently hosts races in the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series, WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, IndyCar Series, SCCA Pirelli World Challenge, ASRA, AMA Superbike series, and SCCA Pro Racing's Trans-Am Series. The Grand Prix of Portland is an Indy Car Series race held at Portland International Raceway in Portland, Oregon. The race was held every year from 1984 through 2007 first as a CART series race, then as part of Champ Car World Series. 2008 Star Mazda Championship Season
The 2008 Star Mazda Championship was a season of the open wheel racing series the Star Mazda Championship. It consisted of a 12-race schedule beginning in March and ending in October, with only the best eleven race results counting towards the championship. As with 2007, the series featured races exclusively on road and street courses. In addition to the main championship that is typically tested by young, developing drivers, there were also additional class titles for older drivers. John Edwards won the championship ahead of Joel Miller and Peter Dempsey despite missing the first round of the championship. Edwards won four races, the same as Dempsey, but Dempsey had three finishes of 20th or worse, one of which counted in his points total, while Edwards worst points-scoring finish was 4th.
