He previously played for the Wigan Warriors in the Super League, and spent time on loan from Wigan at the Swinton Lions in the Championship. Lewis Tierney
Lewis Tierney (born 20 October 1994) is a former rugby league footballer who played on the or at . He started his professional career in 2013 with the Wigan Warriors in the Super League, and spent time on loan at Workington Town. He joined the Catalans Dragons in 2017, and played for them in the 2018 Challenge Cup final. He played for Leigh Centurions for one season before announcing his retirement in 2021. The Castleford Tigers are a professional rugby league club in Castleford, West Yorkshire, England, that compete in the Super League, the top-level professional rugby league club competition in the Northern Hemisphere. The Magic Weekend (known as the Dacia Magic Weekend for sponsorship reasons) is an annual event organised by the Rugby Football League in which an entire round of Super League matches is played over a weekend at a single stadium to promote the sport of rugby league. The first event was held at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff in 2007, and subsequent events have taken place at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh; the Etihad Stadium, Manchester; St James' Park, Newcastle, and Anfield, Liverpool.
