Tokaikko Junjō
is the third major single from the Japanese pop group Cute, released on October 17, 2007 on the Zetima label. The CD single was released in two versions: Regular Edition and Limited Edition, the latter included a bonus DVD with a concert performance. It debuted at number 3 in the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart, remaining in the chart for 4 weeks. On October 31, the Single V containing the "Tokaikko Junjō" music video appeared. As of November 28, 2007, the single has sold 38,085 copies, making it their highest-selling single to date, and also the second-best selling Hello! Project Kids single after Buono!'s debut single "Honto no Jibun". On December 30, 2007, for the single "Tokaikko Junjō" C-ute received the Japan Record Award for Best New Artist. Cute (Japanese Idol Group)
, was a Japanese girl group associated with Hello! Project and produced by Tsunku. Cute consisted of Maimi Yajima, Saki Nakajima, Airi Suzuki, Chisato Okai, and Mai Hagiwara, who were all members of Hello! Project Kids prior to the group's formation. The original member line-up also consisted of fellow Hello! Project Kids members Megumi Murakami and Erika Umeda, as well as Hello! Project trainee Kanna Arihara, prior to their departure. After releasing a string of independent hits, Cute made its major debut in 2007 with "Sakura Chirari" and that year won the Japan Record Award for Best New Artist. is the title of the first single by the Hello! Project unit Buono!. Maimi Yajima and Chisato Okai appear as background characters in the song's Promotional Video. It was first performed on August 22, 2007 at Odaiba's Palette Town and later on Cute's 'Hōkago no Essence' Fall Concert (September 30, 2007) and the 2007 Morning Musume Cultural Festival, on October 7 and October 8, 2007. "Honto no Jibun" was released on October 31, 2007, in Japan under the Pony Canon label in two different versions, regular and limited, the latter of which included an additional DVD. Maimi Yajima
is a Japanese singer and actress. She was a member and the leader of Cute, a girl idol group within Hello! Project. Career Yajima first joined Hello! Project in 2002 as one of the fifteen children chosen from the Hello! Project Kids auditions after performing "Momoiro Kataomoi" by Aya Matsuura. She debuted the same year in the movie ''Koinu Dan no Monogatari'', taking on one of the main roles as an antagonist. The following year, she joined the first of the kids' groups, ZYX, which released two singles. In 2004, Berryz Kobo was formed, with the intention of rotating the girls throughout the unit. Yajima did not make the original pick, and the idea was eventually dropped. The remaining girls eventually ended up forming Cute in 2005. Despite not being the oldest, Yajima still became the group's leader, after Erika Umeda turned down the role. is a Japanese singer and actress. She was a member of Cute, a Japanese pop group within Hello! Project. Early life Nakajima was born in Saitama, Japan. She joined Hello!
