Harmanli
Harmanli ( bg, Харманли , tr, Harmanlı) is a town in Haskovo Province, south-central Bulgaria. It is the administrative centre of the eponymous Harmanli Municipality. Near the site of Hamanli in Late Antiquity, during the early 4th-century Cibalensean War, the Battle of Mardia was fought between the Roman emperors Licinius and Constantine the Great. Harmanli was founded 1510 along the road connecting Central Europe and Anatolia. Geography Its territory spreads over some parts of the Upper Thracian Lowlands between the oblique south slopes of the Sredna Gora and precipitous north slopes of the Rhodope Mountains. The south boundary of the Thracian lowlands is outlined by the north Rhodope foot, along which it leans close on the north Rhodopes, between the lower end of the Momina Klisura defile (at 300 m elevation) and the beginning of the Harmanli defile (at 80 m elevation). 2009–10 Bulgarian Cup
The 2009–10 Bulgarian Cup was the 28th official season of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. The competition began on September 16, 2009 with the matches of the Preliminary Round and ended with the final on May 5, 2010. Litex Lovech are the defending champions. Beroe won the competition, beating Chernomorets Pomorie in the finals at Gradski. As such, they qualified for the third qualifying round of the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League. Neftochimic ( bg, Нефтохимик) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Burgas, which currently competes in B RFG Burgas, the fifth tier of the Bulgarian football league system, after being disqualified for financial problems in 2021 from the Second League and reformed in 2022. The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The competition has been dominated by Sofia-based teams. The Sofia teams have won together a total number of 65 titles. The three most successful teams are Levski Sofia (26 cups), CSKA Sofia (21 cups) and Slavia Sofia (8 cups). The current cup holders are Levski Sofia, who beat CSKA Sofia 1–0 in the 2022 final.
