Todd Taylor (racing Driver)
Todd Taylor (born May 21, 1966) is the Iowa State Senator from the Iowa Senate, District 40, 40th District. A Democratic Party (United States), Democrat, he has served in the Iowa Senate since 2019. Previously between 1995 and 2019 he had served in the Iowa House of Representatives from the Iowa House of Representatives, District 70, 70th District. He received his BA from Graceland College and his BS from the University of Northern Iowa. , Taylor serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Appropriations, Labor, and State Government committees. He also serves as ranking member of the Justice System Appropriations Subcommittee and as a member of the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy Council and of the Statewide Fire and Police Retirement Board of Trustees. Iowa House Of Representatives
The Iowa House of Representatives is the lower house of the Iowa General Assembly, the upper house being the Iowa Senate. There are 100 seats in the Iowa House of Representatives, representing 100 single-member districts across the state, formed by dividing the 50 Senate districts in half. Each district has a population of approximately 30,464 . The House of Representatives meets at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines. Unlike the upper house, the Iowa Senate, state House representatives serve two-year terms with the whole chamber up for re-election in even-numbered years. There are no term limits for the House. Ken Rozenboom (born 1951) is the Iowa State Senator from the 19th District. A Republican, he has served in the Iowa Senate since being elected in 2013.
