Tine Sundtoft
Kristine "Tine" Sundtoft (born 19 April 1967) is a Norwegian civil servant and politician for the Conservative Party. She was Minister of Climate and the Environment in Solberg's Cabinet from 2013 to 2015. Biography Family and education She was born in Lillesand as a daughter of county mayor Kristian Sundtoft and traffic teacher Barbro Rønnevig Sundtoft. After finishing secondary school at Møglestu in 1985 and attending Agder District University College for one year, Sundtoft graduated with a degree in business administration from the BI Norwegian Business School in 1990. Early career She was general secretary of Norwegian Young Conservatives from 1990–1992, political advisor for the Conservative Party in Parliament, and served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Aust-Agder from 1989 to 1993. The Minister of Climate and the Environment ( no, Klima- og miljøministeren) is a Councilor of State and Chief of Norway's Ministry of the Environment. The current minister is Espen Barth Eide. The ministry is responsible for environmental issues, including influencing environmental impacts on other ministries. Subordinate agencies include the Directorate for Cultural Heritage, the Polar Institute, the Environment Agency and the Mapping Authority. The minister and minister post were established on 8 May 1972. The title was known as the Minister of the Environment until 2013. Nineteen people from six parties have held the position. 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference
The 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP 21 or CMP 11 was held in Paris, France, from 30 November to 12 December 2015. It was the 21st yearly session of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 11th session of the Meeting of the Parties (CMP) to the 1997 Kyoto Protocol. The conference negotiated the Paris Agreement, a global agreement on the reduction of climate change, the text of which represented a consensus of the representatives of the 196 attending parties. Siv Jensen
Siv Jensen (born 1 June 1969) is a Norwegian who served as the leader of the Progress Party from 2006 to 2021. She also held the position as Minister of Finance from 2013 to 2020 in the Solberg Cabinet. She was also a member of the Norwegian parliament from Oslo from 1997 to 2021. Born and raised in Oslo, Jensen graduated with a degree in business studies from the Norwegian School of Economics. She was first elected to parliament in the 1997 parliamentary election, and has later been re-elected for four consecutive terms. She chaired the parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs from 2001 to 2005, and in 2006 succeeded long-time chairman Carl I. Hagen as leader of the Progress Party.
