Mosses are small, non-vascular flowerless plants in the taxonomic division Bryophyta (, ) '' sensu stricto''. Timmiellaceae is a family of haplolepideous mosses (Dicranidae). It contains two genera, '' Luisierella'' and '' Timmiella'', that were formerly place in family Pottiaceae.
