Lemar Obika (born 4 April 1978), known as Lemar, is an English singer, songwriter and record producer. Initially rising to fame after finishing third on the first series of British talent show ''Fame Academy'', he was later signed to Sony BMG, where he has gone on to release five studio albums, three of which are certified platinum or double platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). Lemar's double-platinum debut album '' Dedicated'' was released in November 2003 and contained the successful singles "Dance (With U)", " 50/50" and "Another Day", all of which charted in the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart. Edwin James Graham (born 20 February 1977) is an English musician who is best known as the original drummer of the rock band the Darkness, as well as the subsequent successor band Stone Gods fronted by guitarist and singer Richie Edwards. Early life Graham grew up in Oulton Broad in Lowestoft, attending Kirkley High School with the Hawkins brothers. Not particularly sporty, Graham would spend his break times isolated in the music room where he began to play the drums. After school Graham studied art at Lowestoft College. In 1998 and 1999, Graham studied Film and Television at Salisbury College, gaining a Higher National Diploma. Frankie Poullain
Francis Gilles Poullain-Patterson (born 15 April 1967), better known as Frankie Poullain, is the bassist, bass player for rock band The Darkness (band), The Darkness. He was raised in Milnathort then Edinburgh, Scotland. He attended the Royal High School, Edinburgh, Royal High School, leaving in 1985. Poullain was the only original Darkness member not from the Lowestoft area. Poullain left the band on 23 May 2005, citing "musical differences" as the reason. He was replaced by Richie Edwards, a former guitar technician for the band. His departure caused quite a stir with the press, most notably in the ''NME'' magazine where he was reportedly regarded as their favourite member of the band. Justin David Hawkins (born 17 March 1975) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and YouTube personality best known for being the founder, lead singer, and lead guitarist of The Darkness. When released as a single in September 2003, it peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart. Kenneth Karlin or just Karlin (born September 18, 1966) is a Danish songwriter and producer who is best known for his work with Carsten Schack, better known as Soulshock, forming the Los Angeles-based producer duo Soulshock & Karlin. They have worked with artists including Whitney Houston, Backstreet Boys, 2Pac, Mary J. Blige, and JoJo. Before joining Soulshock, Karlin was already an integral part of Denmark's jazz scene, producing Patti LaBelle's song "All Right Now." Carsten Schack (born 1968 in Gug, Denmark) and better known by his stage name Soulshock is a Danish record producer and songwriter. Beginnings Carsten Schack was born in the Aalborg suburb of Gug, the son of economics professor Bent Schack and physician assistant Åse Schack. In the early 1990s he dated choreographer Toniah Pedersen for 3 years.
