Time Tears Down
''Time Tears Down'' is the first full-length studio album by the German melodic death metal band Parasite Inc. It was released on 2 August 2013 via Good Damn Records (now Rebel Tune Records). Background ''Time Tears Down'' was recorded in the band's own recording-studio. Sound engineering and mixing was done by the band itself. The album was mastered by Jens Bogren in the Fascination Street Studios. The band re-recorded all eight songs from their 2010 demo album for this album with the exception of the intro and an interlude. The bonus song "Deadlife" was released on physical copies only and is the oldest song written by the band, although never released before. Reception The album received positive reviews and high ratings by leading German metal magazines. It reached number 26 in the official German rock-metal charts and stayed several weeks in the top 30. Parasite Inc
Parasite Inc. is a German melodic death metal band from Aalen. Formed in 2007, the band currently consists of Kai Bigler (vocals, guitar), Dominik Sorg (guitar), Lucien Mosesku (bass) and Benjamin Stelzer (drums). History The band formed in 2007 after guitar player Kai Bigler and drummer Benjamin Stelzer decided to start a band. The line-up was completed by Benedikt Grubauer (guitar) and Patrick Hauf (bass). During the first two years the band wrote songs for an album and played several concerts. In early 2010 they released a self-titled demo album, which was recorded in late 2009 in the band's own recording studio. The mixing was done by Hendrik Kröger, while the mastering was done by the band itself. About that time Patrick Hauf left the band and was replaced by Sebastian Schmid. The demo received critical acclaim, high review scores and sold out soon. Melodic death metal (also referred to as melodeath) is a subgenre of death metal that employs highly melodic guitar riffs, often borrowing from traditional heavy metal (including New Wave of British Heavy Metal). The genre features the heaviness of death metal but with highly melodic or harmonized guitar riffs and solos, and often features high-pitched shrieked vocals (differing from traditional death metal) alongside the low-pitched growls commonly featured in traditional death metal. Jens Peter Daniel Bogren (born 13 November 1979) is a Swedish record producer, mixer and recording engineer specializing in heavy metal music.
