Tim Maupin
Tim Maupin (born March 23, 1989) is a rugby union player who plays for NOLA Gold in Major League Rugby (MLR) and for the United States men's national team internationally. He also has played for the USA Selects. Early life Maupin was born on March 23, 1989, in Danville, California. He attended De La Salle High School, graduating in 2007. While in high school, Maupin played rugby and football, playing at quarterback for his high school team. After high school, Maupin attended Saint Mary's College. There, he played for the university's rugby teams and graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology in 2013. After playing at Saint Mary's, Maupin played rugby for San Francisco Golden Gate during the summer of 2013 before joining the Olympic Club in San Francisco later that year. World Rugby Americas Pacific Challenge
The Americas Pacific Challenge (APC) is a rugby union tournament funded by World Rugby that serves as a development competition for Americas and Pacific island nations. It provides a way to prepare players for participation with their senior national men's teams during international tests and in the Rugby World Cup qualification cycle. The competition has been hosted by the Uruguayan Rugby Union since 2016, with all games played in Montevideo. The San Diego Legion is an American professional rugby union team based in San Diego, California. The team was founded in 2017 and competes in Major League Rugby. Home field The team plays at Snapdragon Stadium, which is located on the campus of the San Diego State University in Mission Valley and has a seating capacity of 35,000. The stadium is also the home of San Diego State Aztecs football and San Diego Wave FC. The Houston SaberCats are an American professional rugby union team based in Houston, Texas. The team was founded in 2017 and competes in Major League Rugby, the top-level rugby union competition in the United States and Canada that played its first season in 2018.
