Tim Mannah
Tim Mannah (born 15 February 1988) is a former Lebanon international rugby league footballer who played as a for the Parramatta Eels in the NRL. He played for City NSW, New South Wales in the State of Origin series and the Prime Minister's XIII. Mannah played his entire NRL career with Parramatta, attaining the club's captaincy in the process. Background Mannah was born in Sydney, Australia. He is of Lebanese descent. Playing career In round 1 of the 2009 NRL season, Mannah made his NRL premiership debut for Parramatta Eels against the New Zealand Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium. The Johnny Mannah Cup is a trophy contested annually in a game between the National Rugby League's Parramatta Eels and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks clubs. 2019 Canterbury Cup NSW
The 2019 Canterbury Cup NSW season was the eleventh season of the New South Wales Cup, the top rugby league competition administered by the New South Wales Rugby League. The competition acts as a second-tier league to the ten New South Wales-based National Rugby League clubs, as well the Canberra Raiders and New Zealand Warriors. The Newtown Jets won the premiership and played against Burleigh Bears, who won the 2019 Intrust Super Cup, in the NRL State Championship. Teams In 2019, 12 clubs fielded teams in the Canterbury Cup. Newtown Jets
The Newtown Jets are an Australian rugby league football club based in Newtown, a suburb of Sydney's inner west. They currently compete in the NSW Cup competition, having left the top grade after the 1983 NSWRFL season. The Jets' home ground is Henson Park, and their team colours are blue (traditionally royal blue) and white. Established in 1908, Newtown were one of the founding members of the New South Wales Rugby Football League. The competition has a history dating back to the NSWRFL's origins in 1908, starting off as a reserve grade competition, and is now the premier open age competition in the state. The Wentworthville Magpies, colloquially known as ''Wenty'', are a rugby league team based in the suburb of Wentworthville in Sydney's Western Suburbs. Founded in 1963 (or 1937), the club has competed in various Sydney district competitions and, since 2003, the semi-professional Ron Massey Cup and Sydney Shield competitions in NSW, Australia.
