Johnny Mannah Cup
The Johnny Mannah Cup is a trophy contested annually in a game between the National Rugby League's Parramatta Eels and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks clubs. Tim Mannah (born 15 February 1988) is a former Lebanon international rugby league footballer who played as a for the Parramatta Eels in the NRL. He played for City NSW, New South Wales in the State of Origin series and the Prime Minister's XIII. Jon Mannah
Jonathan Mannah (13 September 1989 – 18 January 2013) was an Australian professional rugby league footballer. He played as a for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks (2009–2011) and the Parramatta Eels (2012) in the National Rugby League (NRL). Since 2013, the Johnny Mannah Cup, which is named in his honour, is annually competed for by both clubs he played for. Early life Mannah was born in Sydney, New South Wales, to a Lebanese Australian family. He was the younger brother of former Parramatta Eels captain Tim Mannah. The 2022 NRL season is the 115th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 25th season run by the National Rugby League. Teams The lineup of teams remained unchanged for the 16th consecutive year. This became the second longest stretch of time (after 1947-1966 - 20 seasons) of a continuous line-up of teams in competition history (overtaking 1967-1981 - 15 seasons). Pre-season Pre-season matches were played between 12 February and 28 February 2022, before a 10-day lead up until the beginning of the regular season. Western Sydney Stadium
Western Sydney Stadium, commercially known as CommBank Stadium, is a multi-purpose rectangular stadium in Parramatta, within the Greater Western Sydney region, approximately west of Sydney CBD.
