Tim Batt
Tim Batt (born 1987) is a New Zealand-based comedian and podcaster. He co-hosts The Worst Idea of All Time podcast with fellow NZ comedian Guy Montgomery and was nominated for a Billy T Award in 2014 and 2015. Early life Batt grew up in Christchurch, New Zealand and later spent time in Wellington, and then Auckland. Before comedy, he worked in radio and call centers. Batt attended Cobham Intermediate School, and was a contemporary of acclaimed singer and UNICEF ambassador Hayley Westenra, the two appearing together in school productions. Career Batt's first appearance on TV was in 2014, on the TVNZ U show ''U LATE'' with future collaborator Guy Montgomery, where he appeared as a "pathetic but upbeat" public bathroom reviewer. The Worst Idea Of All Time
''The Worst Idea of All Time'' is a podcast hosted by New Zealand comedians Tim Batt and Guy Montgomery where they watch and review the same film every week for a year. In each season, the film chosen is one neither of the hosts have seen before and is generally considered to be a bad film. Background The original concept, as stated in the first episode of season one, was to watch ''Grown Ups 2'' "until it became worthwhile". The hosts adapted the scope of the podcast to watching the film once a week for a full calendar year. Some other films that were considered for season one were '' Con Air'' and ''The Room'', but they were passed over for being too good and too bad respectively. In episode two of season one, Montgomery claimed that his main reason for hosting the podcast was to become better friends with Batt. Nic Sampson is a New Zealand actor, comedian, and writer known for his roles as Chip Thorn, the Yellow Mystic Ranger on ''Power Rangers Mystic Force'', Detective Constable Sam Breen on ''The Brokenwood Mysteries'', and for the New Zealand sketch show ''Funny Girls''. Rose Catherine Lettitia Matafeo (; born 25 February 1992) is a New Zealand comedian, actress, and TV presenter. She was a writer and performer on the New Zealand late-night comedy sketch show ''Funny Girls''. In 2018, she won the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for her show ''Horndog''. Hayley Dee Westenra (born 10 April 1987) is a New Zealand classical crossover singer and songwriter.
