Tijuana (2019 TV Series)
''Tijuana'' is a Mexican Spanish-language crime television series created by Zayre Ferrer and Daniel Posada and starring Damián Alcázar, Tamara Vallarta and Rolf Petersen. The plot revolves around journalists in Mexico investigating Eugenio Robles's (Roberto Mateos) death and how it connects to Greorgio Mueller (Rodrigo Abed). The story is told with the reality of life in current-day Mexico as a backdrop, the world's most dangerous place for journalists. It is a co-production between Netflix and the American Spanish-language free-to-air TV station Univision, and was ordered direct-to-series. The first season premiered on Netflix streaming and Univision on April 5, 2019. Damián Alcázar
Damián Alcázar (born January 8, 1953) is a Mexican actor and politician, who is best known outside of Mexico as Lord Sopespian in '' The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian''. He was a deputy in the Constituent Assembly of Mexico City. Career Damián Alcázar studied acting first at the National Institute of Fine Arts and at the Theatrical Experimentation Center, then continued at the Faculty of Theater of the Veracruz University, where in later years he would work as a teacher. He served as an actor for eight years in two theatre companies, alongside the most prestigious directors in Mexico. Notably under the direction of George Labaudan, he appeared on Jean Genet's play, The Balcony. He has appeared in six foreign films and more than twenty-eight Mexican films. Crime Film
