Tigran Gharamian ( hy, Տիգրան Ղարամյան, born 24 July 1984) is an Armenian-French chess grandmaster. He won the French Chess Championship in 2018. Chess career Gharamian played for Armenia in the Children's Chess Olympiads of 1999 and 2000. He came first at Fourmies 2007 and Charleroi 2007. In 2010 he tied for 1st–3rd with Vadim Malakhatko and Deep Sengupta in the 24th Open Pierre and Vacances. In 2011 he won the Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy Open and tied for 2nd–4th with Alexander Kovchan, Boris Grachev and Ante Brkić in the Open Master Tournament in Biel. Gharamian tied for 1st–5th with Pentala Harikrishna, Parimarjan Negi, Tornike Sanikidze and Martyn Kravtsiv in the Cappelle-la-Grande Open 2012. Boris Pavlovich Grachev (russian: Борис Павлович Грачёв; born 27 March 1986) is a Russian chess player. He was awarded the title Grandmaster by FIDE in 2007. Grachev competed in the FIDE World Cup in 2009, 2011, 2015, and 2017. Chess career In 1995, Grachev won the Under 10 section of the World Youth Chess Festival in São Lourenço, Brazil. The Cappelle-la-Grande Open is a chess tournament held every year in Cappelle-la-Grande, France, since 1985. Martyn Kravtsiv ( uk, Мартин Кравців; born 26 November 1990) is a Ukrainian chess grandmaster. He competed in the FIDE World Cup in 2013. Career Kravtsiv was taught how to play chess on his sixth birthday by his father. Later, he trained in a Lviv Chess Club. In the 2008 World Mind Sports Games in Beijing, Kravtsiv won the gold medal in the men's individual blitz event. Parimarjan Negi (born 9 February 1993) is an Indian chess grandmaster. He achieved the grandmaster title at the age of 13 years, 4 months, and 20 days, which made him the second youngest grandmaster in history at the time. As of July 2021, he is the seventh youngest player to achieve this feat. Negi is an Indian and Asian champion. He played on the top board for the bronze medal-winning Indian team in the 2014 Chess Olympiad in Tromsø, Norway. He was granted the Arjuna Award in 2010 by the Government of India. Pentala Harikrishna (born 10 May 1986) is an Indian chess grandmaster. He became the youngest grandmaster from India after attaining the title in 2001, a record now held by Gukesh D. He was Commonwealth Champion in 2001, World Junior Champion in 2004, and Asian Individual Champion in 2011. He is currently third highest rated player in India. Harikrishna won the Tata Steel Group B in 2012 and the Biel MTO Masters Tournament Open event in 2013. He represented India at seven Chess Olympiads from 2000 to 2012 and won team Bronze at the World Team Chess Championships in 2010.
