''Tidal Arms'' is the second, self-titled album from Brooklyn-based rock band Tidal Arms Tidal Arms is an experimental/psychedelic/rock band from Brooklyn, New York that formed in 2009. They self-released their first album, ''The Sun Exploding'', on February 13, 2011, and followed up with a national tour supporting Glassjaw. The band' .... The album was released on November 26, 2013. Recording The band recorded the album alongside Alex Mead-Fox at Spaceman Sound, their studio in Brooklyn, NY. The album was mastered by Alan Douches (Converge, Dillinger Escape Plan). Much of the recording process was documented on the band's Instagram account. Release The album saw its release on vinyl and digital outlets on November 26, 2013. The vinyl offerings, pressed by Black Numbers, include 100 pink, 150 sea foam, and 100 clear with black smoke vinyl. Vinyl can be purchased at the band's Bandcamp page. Tidal Arms is an experimental/psychedelic/rock band from Brooklyn, New York that formed in 2009. Formation Following the break-up of his bands From Autumn To Ashes and Biology, vocalist/drummer Francis Mark went on to form Warship. In 2009, after the departure of Warship's co-founding members, Mark met guitarist Tom Tierney on Craig's List and hired him to perform with the band on a national tour supporting Goblin Cock. Mark and Tierney continued playing together after the tour, splitting time writing between Philadelphia and Brooklyn. Shortly thereafter, ex-Kiss Kiss bassist Patrick Southern was brought into the rehearsals and writing sessions for what would become Tidal Arms. Francis Mark
Francis Mark is an American drummer, singer, guitarist, songwriter and artist known as a member of the bands From Autumn to Ashes, Warship, Biology, and Tidal Arms. Mark currently resides in Brooklyn, New York and plays with Tidal Arms. Before From Autumn To Ashes, he was in a local band named Who's to Blame with Scott Gross. Mark has also filled in for vocalist Jeffrey Moreira at a handful of Poison the Well shows in September 2001 and played drums for Reggie and the Full Effect in 2008.
