Tickle Me Pink
Tickle Me Pink was an American rock band from Fort Collins, Colorado, signed to Wind-Up Records. The band was made up of Sean Kennedy (lead vocals, bass guitar), Stefan Runstrom (drums), Joey Barba (guitar) and Steven Beck (guitar, vocals). After independently releasing their first two EPs, ''If Only We Were Twenty One and Up'' (2005) and ''Half Seas Over'' (2006), the band released its first album, ''Madeline'', on July 1, 2008. The album's release coincided with the death of the bass guitarist Johnny Schou, reportedly due to a heroin overdose. Schou was replaced by Joey Barba, a longtime friend of the band. Tickle Me Pink officially played their last show together on March 5, 2011. The band left a Twitter message to their fans the following day saying, "Farewell all. We love you and will never forget you. -TMP". Kennedy then assembled a new band, Talisker Skye, and both Beck and Runstrom have played in the Wiredogs. ''Madeline'' is the debut album by Fort Collins band Tickle Me Pink, released on September 4, 2007, under the Wind-up Records label. It has been said that this album focuses on many major issues in today's world, including mortality, drug use, suicide, loss, brutal breakups to name but a few. Tickle Me Pink singer Sean Kennedy had said: "It is somewhat ironic that many of our songs deal with death and a higher purpose. We want to let the world know how short life is; embrace the ones you love and treasure each moment without regret." A rock band or pop band is a small musical ensemble that performs rock music, pop music, or a related genre. A four-piece band is the most common configuration in rock and pop music. Hawthorne Heights, formerly A Day in the Life, is an American rock band from Dayton, Ohio, formed in 2001. Their lineup currently consists of JT Woodruff (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Matt Ridenour (bass guitar, backing vocals), Mark McMillon (lead guitar, unclean backing vocals), and Chris Popadak (drums, percussion). On November 24, 2007, rhythm guitarist and unclean backing vocalist Casey Calvert died, leaving the band as a four-piece. In June 2014 it was announced the departure of original drummer Eron Bucciarelli. Christopher Albert Sims (born October 21, 1942) is an American econometrician and macroeconomist. He is currently the John J.F. Sherrerd '52 University Professor of Economics at Princeton University. Together with Thomas Sargent, he won the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 2011. The award cited their "empirical research on cause and effect in the macroeconomy".
