Péter Boross
Péter Boross (born 27 August 1928) is a Hungarian retired politician and former member of the Hungarian Democratic Forum (MDF) who served as Prime Minister of Hungary from December 1993 to July 1994. He assumed the position upon the death of his predecessor, József Antall, and held the office until his right-wing coalition was defeated in election by the Hungarian Socialist Party (MSZP), which was led by his successor Gyula Horn. Prior to his premiership, Boross functioned as Minister of Civilian Intelligence Services (1990) and Minister of the Interior (1990–1993). He was also a Member of Parliament from 1994 to 1998 and from 2006 to 2009. At the age of 96, he is the longest-lived prime minister in Hungarian history. Sashalom
Sashalom () is a neighbourhood within the 16th District of Budapest, 16th District of Budapest. It is mostly a green and suburban environment away from traffic and businesses. A monument was erected in Sashalom to commemorate the tens or hundreds of thousands of Germans of Hungary , German people deported in January 1945 to the internment camps of the Soviet Union as slave labor. Christian Democratic People's Party (Hungary)
The Christian Democratic People's Party (, , KDNP ) is a right-wing Christian democratic political party in Hungary. It is officially a coalition partner of the ruling party, Fidesz, but is mostly considered a satellite party of Fidesz. The party has been unable to get into the Parliament on its own since the 1990s (with the last time it did so being 1994), as it was not able to pass the election threshold of 5% of the vote. Without Fidesz, its support is now low enough that it can no longer be measured, and even a leading Fidesz politician, János Lázár, stated that Fidesz does not consider the government to be a coalition government.
