Tiago Palacios
Tiago Asahel Palacios (born 28 March 2001) is a professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Estudiantes. Born in Argentina, he represents Uruguay at international level. Club career Palacios joined the youth system of River Plate in 2011, he remained there for six years before being released in December 2017. In February 2018, he moved to Platense. Palacios signed his first professional contract with Platense on 3 January 2020. He was soon promoted into Juan Pablo Pumpido's first-team squad, with his senior debut arriving on 6 March during a home Primera Nacional defeat to Alvarado; he replaced Gonzalo Bazán with twenty-six minutes remaining. The Torneo Federal A (in English "Federal A Tournament") is one of the two professional leagues that form the regionalised third level of the Argentine football league system, along with Primera B Metropolitana. The competition was established in 2014 as a result of a change in the structure of the league system, replacing Torneo Argentino A. Federal A is organised by "Consejo Federal", a division of the Argentine Football Association. Clubs in Federal A have indirect membership in AFA unlike clubs in Primera B, which have direct membership. 2021 Copa De La Liga Profesional
The 2021 Copa de la Liga Profesional was the second edition of the Copa de la Liga Profesional, an Argentine domestic cup. It began on 12 February and ended on 4 June 2021. Due to the worsening of the COVID-19 pandemic in Argentina, the President of Argentina suspended all the activities, including the Copa de la Liga Profesional, between 22 and 30 May 2021. Therefore, the semi-finals and final of the tournament were rescheduled for 31 May and 4 June 2021, respectively. The 2019–20 Argentine Primera B Nacional, also known as the 2019–20 Primera Nacional, was the 35th season of the Primera B Nacional, the second tier of Argentine football. The season began on 15 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in May 2020. Thirty-two teams compete in the league, twenty-one returning from the 2018–19 season, four teams that were relegated from Primera División, two teams promoted from Federal A and five from B Metropolitana. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Argentine Football Association suspended the tournament on 17 March 2020.
