Thyagarajan
Thiagarajan Sivanandam (born 21 June 1946) is an Indian actor, director and producer in Tamil cinema. Beside Tamil, he has also acted in several Malayalam and Kannada films and a few Telugu films. He is the father of Tamil actor Prashanth and the maternal uncle of Tamil actor Vikram. Career Basically a businessman, Thiagarajan made his acting debut with ''Alaigal Oivathillai'', appearing as the elder brother of the film's lead actress Radha. The film became successful and offers poured in for him. His portrayal of a jungle bandit in ''Malaiyoor Mambattiyan'' provided him a major breakthrough in his career. He was part of such successful films as ''Neengal Kettavai'' and '' Paayum Puli''. He acted in the Malayalam film ''New Delhi'', which became successful and his portrayal of a goon received acclaim. Mambattiyan
''Mambattiyan'' () is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language vigilante film co-written, produced and directed by Thiagarajan, starring his son Prashanth as the title character. The film, also starring Meera Jasmine, Prakash Raj, Vadivelu and Mumaith Khan in other pivotal roles, is a remake of the 1983 Tamil blockbuster ''Malaiyoor Mambattiyan'' that starred Thiagarajan himself and Saritha.The film got grand opening because of all songs were chartbusters until the film released on 16 December 2011 to average reviews from critics. Prashanth
Prashanth Thiagarajan (born 6 April 1973), known professionally as Prashanth, is an Indian actor and businessman, known for his works predominantly in Tamil cinema. Besides Tamil films, he has also appeared in few Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam films. At the peak of his career in the late 1990s, Prashanth was one of the popular actors in South India. He has won a Kalaimamani Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu. The son of actor-director Thiagarajan, Prashanth began his career at 17 by appearing in ''Vaigasi Poranthachu'' (1990) and went on to feature in other films including Balu Mahendra's ''Vanna Vanna Pookkal'' (1992), R. ''New Delhi'' is a 1987 Malayalam language neo-noir action thriller film written by Dennis Joseph and directed by Joshiy and produced by Joy Thomas. It stars Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Thiagarajan, Sumalatha, Urvashi, Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Mohan Jose, Devan, and Jagannatha Varma. ''Bodyguard'' is a 2010 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy action film written and directed by Siddique.
