Thuvariman
Thuvariman is a neighbourhood in Madurai district, of Tamil Nadu state in the peninsular India. It is located at an altitude of about 168 m above the mean sea level with the geographical coordinates of (i.e., 9.949900°N, 78.065400°E). Madurai, Arasaradi, Kalavasal, Arappalayam, Koodal Nagar, Vilangudi, Thathaneri, Simmakkal, South Gate and Yanaikkal, Paravai and Samayanallur are some of the important neighbourhoods of Thuvariman. As per the 2011 Census of India, Thuvariman had a total population of 4,962. Out of this males constituted 2,507 and females constituted 2,455. The average sex ratio of Thuvariman was 979/1,000. The population of Children in Thuvariman, of age 0-6 years was 575, which was 12% of its total population. Out of this, 302 were male children and 273 were female children. Samayanallur
Samayanallur is a small town located on National Highway 7, 12 kilometers from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. The main town just lies between the strip formed by the NH7 and Rail Track. On the south side is the river Vaigai and on the north side is Todaneri Lake ("Todaneri Kanmaai"). The main reason for bearing this name "Samayanallur" is due to its diversity in having all religion people staying together without any religious issues. To be more specific, "Samayam = religions" and "Nallur = life being good" together stands as Samayanallur. Arappalayam or Arapalayam () is a neighbourhood in Madurai city of Tamil Nadu State, India. It is on the south bank of the River Vaigai. The PIN Code for Arasaradi-Arappalaym is 625016. The State Legislative Assembly, or Vidhan Sabha, or also Saasana Sabha, is a legislative body in the states and union territories of India. South Gate, Madurai
South Gate is a neighbourhood in Madurai district of Tamil Nadu state in the peninsular India, with the geographical coordinates of 9°54'39.2"N, 78°07'07.3"E (i.e., 9.910900°N, 78.118700°E) and is located at about 161 m above the mean sea level. Simmakkal, Madurai
Simmakkal is a neighbourhood in Madurai district in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. Simmakkal as meant in the language of Tamil, 'Stone statue of Lion', has a statue at the heart of the neighbourhood. During the British period, out of the four giant walls on East Veli Street, West Street, North Veli Street and South Veli Street already existed, three of them except on West Veli Street were demolished by 'Marret', the then Collector of Madurai.
