Émilie Thuillier is a politician in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She has served on the Montreal city council since 2009, representing Ahuntsic as a member of Projet Montréal, and has been a member of the Montreal executive committee since November 2012. Early political career Thuillier holds a bachelor's degree in Geography from the Université de Montréal and a master's degree in sciences and the environment from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She became a founding member of Projet Montréal in 2004 while writing her master's thesis on urban sustainable development. Not long thereafter, she was chosen as the party's vice-president. She first sought election to the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough council in the 2005 Montreal municipal election, running in the De Lorimier division. Emilio Thuillier (4 August 1868 – 12 July 1940) was a Spanish actor. One of the leading Spanish stage actors of his time, those with whom he worked included María Guerrero, Fernando Díaz de Mendoza, Margarita Xirgu and Rosario Pino, with whom he formed a theatre company. Life Emilio Thuillier was born in Málaga, the son of a French father and a Spanish mother. His father was a businessman, and his educational trajectory was designed to prepare Emilio for a life in commerce. His father's early death transformed his career plans, however. He had already participated with friends in dramatic presentations, and he now determined to train for a professional acting career. Henry Edward Landor Thuillier
Sir Henry Edward Landor Thuillier (10 July 1813 – 6 May 1906) was Surveyor General of India. Under his direction, 796,928 square miles of India were surveyed, including difficult mountainous, forest, and desert regions, often for the first time. He was responsible for the printing in 1854 of the first postage stamps valid throughout India. Thuillier was elected a fellow of the Royal Society in 1869, made a CSI in May 1870, and knighted in June 1879. Jacques Thuillier, (March 18, 1928, Vaucouleurs, Meuse – October 18, 2011, Paris) was a French art historian specializing in 17th-century French painting. Thuillier was an honorary professor at the Collège de France, where he taught history of artistic creation from 1977 to 1998. He was a renowned specialist of French painting and, alongside the late Anthony Blunt, a leading authority on Nicolas Poussin. He published seminal works on the leading French painters of the time, including Simon Vouet, Georges de La Tour, the Le Nain brothers, Laurent de La Hyre, Sébastien Bourdon, Jacques Blanchard and Lubin Baugin. Louis Thuillier
Louis Thuillier (4 May 1856 – 19 September 1883) was a French biologist from Amiens. He studied biology and physics in Amiens and Paris, and in 1880 went to work as an assistant in the laboratory of Louis Pasteur. With Pasteur and his colleagues, Thuillier was instrumental in developing vaccinations against rabies, swine fever and anthrax. In 1882-83 Thuillier was sent throughout Germany and Austria-Hungary, conducting a series of vaccinations of sheep and cattle against anthrax. On these trips he did further research of the disease, and conducted an ongoing correspondence of letters with Pasteur. These letters mention the successes and disappointments Thuillier had with the vaccine, and have been translated into English as "Correspondence of Pasteur and Thuillier, Concerning Anthrax and Swine Fever Vaccinations".
