Thor Spydevold
Thor Otto Spydevold (15 August 1944 – 1 July 2024) was a Norwegian footballer who played as a defender. He won the 1966 Norwegian Football Cup with his club Fredrikstad FK, and played 28 matches for the Norway national team. Personal life and death Born in Sarpsborg on 15 August 1944, Spydevold was a son of international footballer Bjørn Spydevold. He died in Fredrikstad on 1 July 2024, at the age of 79. Sarpsborg ( or ), historically Borg, is a city and municipality in Viken county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city of Sarpsborg. Sarpsborg is part of the fifth largest urban area in Norway when paired with neighbouring Fredrikstad. As of 1 January 2018, according to Statistics Norway these two municipalities have a total population of 136,127 with 55,840 in Sarpsborg and 81,278 in Fredrikstad. The Reichskommissariat Norwegen was the civilian occupation regime set up by Nazi Germany in German-occupied Norway during World War II.
