Thomas R. Reid
Thomas Robert Reid (April 12, 1839 – June 17, 1917) was an American politician who served in Wyoming House of Representatives as a Democrat. Life Thomas Robert Reid was born in London on April 12, 1839 and in 1844 was taken to Australia by his relatives. In 1860 he immigrated to the United States and went to Omaha, Nebraska Territory. On July 13, 1867 he joined the army and became a sergeant in Troop M of the Second Regiment of Cavalry and served until July 13, 1872. Wyoming House Of Representatives
The Wyoming House of Representatives is the lower house of the Wyoming State Legislature. There are 60 Representatives in the House, representing an equal number of single-member constituent districts across the state, each with a population of at least 9,000. The House convenes at the Wyoming State Capitol in Cheyenne. Members of the House serve two year terms without term limits. Term limits were declared unconstitutional by the Wyoming Supreme Court in 2004, overturning a decade-old law that had restricted Representatives to six terms (twelve years). Cheyenne ( or ) is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Wyoming, as well as the county seat of Laramie County, with 65,132 residents, per the 2020 US Census. Nebraska Territory
The Territory of Nebraska was an organized incorporated territory of the United States that existed from May 30, 1854, until March 1, 1867, when the final extent of the territory was admitted to the Union as the State of Nebraska. The Nebraska Territory was created by the Kansas–Nebraska Act of 1854. The territorial capital was Omaha. The territory encompassed areas of what is today Nebraska, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, Colorado, and Montana. History An enabling act was passed by Congress in 1864.
