Luke Davison (born 8 May 1990) is an Australian road and track cyclist who rides for Team Budget Forklifts. In 2012 he won the Goulburn to Sydney Classic. In 2014 he represented Australia at the Track World Championships and the Commonwealth Games and won gold in the team pursuit event at both meetings. On the road he won the Omloop der Kempen. He won back to back UCI men's individual time trial world championships in 2018 and 2019. Luke Durbridge (born 9 April 1991) is an Australian road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Durbridge specialises in the individual time trial, road races, and various track cycling events. As well as winning the 2012 Australian National Time Trial Championships, Durbridge won both the time trial and the Australian National Road Race Championships in 2013. As a result, he became the first rider to win both titles in the same year at an elite level, Jonathan Hall had previously won both in 1997 but not at an elite level. Early career Durbridge was born in Greenmount, Western Australia, and started cycling at 14 years of age, competing in triathlons. The is an annual professional road bicycle racing Classic cycle races, classic one-day race held in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. It was first started in 1989 as an amateur race, but became professional in 1999. It became part of the UCI Asia Tour in 2005. Until 2007, it was a one-day race, billing itself as the longest single-day course in Japan, but was transformed into a two-day stage race in 2008, its Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI category changing from 1.2 to 2.2. In 2008, the first day was a criterium, but from 2009, it was changed to a time trial run on the streets of Nago. The 2010 edition extended the second stage to 210 kilometers. Australian National Criterium Championships
The Australian National Criterium Championships cover several different categories of Australian road bicycle racing events, normally held annually. The elite event is normally held in the December the preceding year, for example the 2009 championships were held on 14 December 2008, and the 2008 championships were held on 2 December 2007. Occasionally the event will be held in January and under 23 events combined with the elite race. Each year the championships are held in a different location, often incorporated in other annual criterium events. The winners of each event are awarded with a symbolic cycling jersey featuring green and yellow stripes, which can be worn by the rider at other criterium events in the country to show their status as national champion. The champion's stripes can be combined into a sponsored rider's team kit design for this purpose.
