Thomas Moser (born 27 May 1945) is an American-Austrian operatic tenor. Life Born in Richmond, Virginia, Moser first studied singing at Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and with Martial Singher at the Music Academy of the West, attended master classes with Lotte Lehmann and Gérard Souzay - before moving to Europe in 1975. A tenor is a type of classical music, classical male singing human voice, voice whose vocal range lies between the countertenor and baritone voice types. It is the highest male chest voice type. The tenor's vocal range extends up to C5. The low extreme for tenors is widely defined to be B2, though some roles include an A2 (two As below middle C). ''Parsifal'' ( WWV 111) is an opera or a music drama in three acts by the German composer Richard Wagner and his last composition. Wagner's own libretto for the work is loosely based on the 13th-century Middle High German epic poem ''Parzival'' of the ''Minnesänger'' Wolfram von Eschenbach, recounting the story of the Arthurian knight Parzival (Percival) and his quest for the Holy Grail. Wagner conceived the work in April 1857, but did not finish it until 25 years later. In composing it he took advantage of the particular acoustics of his Bayreuth Festspielhaus. Günter Krämer (born December 2, 1940) is a German stage director, especially for opera, and a theatre manager who has staged internationally. Career Born in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Krämer studied German language and literature and gained his first stage experience at the student theatre in Freiburg im Breisgau. He first worked as a grammar school teacher and began his theatre career as assistant director in Wiesbaden. In 1972 he staged Eugene O'Neill's ''A Touch of the Poet'' in Cologne.
