Thomas Gentner
Thomas Gentner (born 4 October 1988) is a retired professional association football, footballer who played as a left-sided defender (association football), defender and midfielder. Career history Thomas came through the youth system at VfB Stuttgart. In 2007, he was signed by Stuttgart Kickers. In the 2007–08 season, he played for their reserve side Stuttgart Kickers#Stuttgart Kickers II, Stuttgart Kickers II, who play in the German NOFV-Oberliga, Oberliga. In the 2008–09 season he was promoted to the first team, and made 18 appearances in the professional 3. Liga. In 2009–10, he played for Eintracht Frankfurt U23 in the fourth tier Regionalliga Süd (1994–2012), Regionalliga Süd. By 2010–11 he was back in the 3. SC Verl is a German association football club based in Verl, North Rhine-Westphalia. The club was founded on 6 September 1924, and since 1970 has consistently played in the higher echelons of amateur football. The club was promoted to the professional 3. Liga in 2020. Craig Brown (footballer Born 1940)
James Craig Brown (born 1 July 1940) is a Scottish former professional football player and manager. After his playing career with Rangers, Dundee and Falkirk was curtailed by a series of knee injuries, Brown entered management with Clyde in 1977. Brown then coached various Scotland youth teams until he was appointed Scotland manager in 1993. He held this position until 2001, the longest tenure for a Scotland manager, and they qualified for the UEFA Euro 1996 and 1998 FIFA World Cup tournaments. Brown later managed Preston North End, Motherwell and Aberdeen. He retired from management in 2013 and was appointed a non-executive director of Aberdeen. Brown was awarded the CBE in 1999 for services to football. The ''Evening Express'' is a daily local newspaper serving the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. History It was first published in November 1879. It was a tabloid during the 1930s to the 1950s until it resumed as a broadsheet in November 1958, six days a week. By September 1989, The Saturday edition returned to a tabloid with the broadsheet formula during the weekdays. It became a tabloid six days a week in February 1995. There was also a Saturday night paper called the Green Final which ended in June 2002 after many years in which it was printed on green paper instead of the usual white. It showed progress on how Aberdeen FC did in their matches as well as a full check on the day's football results.
