Think About It (Melanie C Song)
"Think About It" is a song by English singer Melanie C from her fifth studio album, '' The Sea''. It was released on 4 September 2011 as worldwide lead single from the album and the general second single – " Rock Me" was released only in Germany. It was written by Adam Argyle and collaborative team Cutfather. The track was recorded in Copenhagen and was released after the buzz single " Rock Me", prior to the release Melanie had spent time on the West-End '' Blood Brothers'' which she said helped her develop and evolve as an artist. The song is a dance-pop song that also fuses the usual rock-stance Melanie had taken in her career since 1999. Lyrically the song discusses doing something that you know you shouldn't. The song gathered critical acclaim, and critics considered it a welcome change, seen as a better release than the previous, "Rock Me". Critics enjoyed her new-found pop style and found it to be a good introduction to her fifth studio album ''The Sea''. Commercially t ...

Think (About It)
"Think (About It)" is a funk song recorded by Lyn Collins and released as a single on James Brown's People Records in 1972. The recording was produced by Brown (who also wrote the song) and features instrumental backing from his band The J.B.'s. It was the title track of Collins' 1972 debut album. The song is very popular for its raw drumbeat dressed with tambourine and multiple background vocals, which suggest the song was recorded altogether in one take, with Jabo Starks playing drums. It peaked at No. 9 on the ''Billboard'' Best Selling Soul Singles chart and No. 66 on the Hot 100. Owing to the composition, it became a fan favourite and has been featured on various compilation albums posthumously. In the closing lyrics, Collins sings lines from "Think", which shows that this song was one of the few adaptations of the 5 Royales song that Brown loved to do. Sampling Along with "Funky Drummer" and "Funky President", "Think (About It)" is one of the most frequently sampled James ...

The Yardbirds Discography
The Yardbirds were an English rock group that had a string of Top 40 radio hits in mid-1960s in the UK and the US and introduced guitarists Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page. Their first album released in the UK, ''Five Live Yardbirds'' (1964), represented their early club performances with Clapton. The Yardbirds' first American album, ''For Your Love'' (1965), was released to capitalise on their first hit, and to promote the group's first US tour. However, Clapton had already decided to pursue a different musical direction and was replaced by Beck. Several popular singles with Beck followed, including a second American album, '' Having a Rave Up with the Yardbirds'' (1965), that, as with their previous album, was a split release featuring songs with both Clapton and Beck. In 1966, the Yardbirds recorded their first studio album of all original material. Released in the UK as '' Yardbirds'' and in the US as ''Over Under Sideways Down'', the album acquired the nickname "R ...
