Thindal, Erode
Thindal is a neighborhood of Erode city in Tamil Nadu. It is located 8 km from Erode Junction and 7 km from Central Bus Terminus, Erode. It is now officially a part of Erode Municipal Corporation. The locality is well known for the Thindal Murugan Temple (Velayudaswami temple). The neighborhood is located along the arterial Perundurai Road which connects the city with western districts like Tiruppur, Coimbatore and Kerala. Outer Ring Road connecting all the arterial roads of the city intersects Perundurai road in Thindal. It is a developing area due to the initiation of various educational institutions. Arulmigu Velayuthaswamy Thirukovil, also known as the Thindalmalai Murugan Temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Murugan, located on Thindalmalai hillock near Erode, Tamil Nadu, India. Sangameswarar Temple
Sangameswarar temple (also called Thirunana and Thirukooduthurai) is a temple in Bhavani, in the Erode district, of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is 15 km from Erode, 30 km from Gobichettipalayam, 56 km from Salem and 106 km from Coimbatore. The temple was built at the confluence of rivers Kaveri, Bhavani and the mystic Amutha (Agaya Gangai). The temple was praised in old Tamil literature as Thirunana. Vellode Birds Sanctuary
Vellode Birds Sanctuary (வெள்ளோடு பறவைகள் சரணாலயம்) is an sanctuary located in the Erode District in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It has been designated as a protected Ramsar site since 2022. Erode Ring Road
The Outer Ring Road is a long semi ring road laid around the South Indian city of Erode in Tamil Nadu. It also acts as a southern Bypass to Erode and connects the suburban areas in Namakkal district with the city core areas. The state government of Tamil Nadu has sanctioned the project in 2006, with a funding of 85 crore, with a land acquisition of 180 acres.
