Thet Mon Myint ( my, သက်မွန်မြင့်; born Zung Cer Mawi; on 23 July 1982) is a two-time Myanmar Academy Award winning actress and model. She is the Myanmar's fourth highest-paid actress. In 2019, she was listed on The Myanmar Times' "Top 10 Actor" list. Thet Mon Myint is an ethnic Chin from Chin State in western Myanmar. Early life Thet Mon Myint was born on 23 July 1982 in Falam by Myint U and Daw Myaing, of Chin descent. She went to B.E.H.S(1) Falam, Chin State and graduated from Yangon Institute of Economics. The Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards are presented annually to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Burmese Film Industry of Myanmar. The awards ceremony has been held annually since 1952. Each winner is presented with a golden statue and in recent years also a cash prize. ''Adam, Eve and Datsa'' or Ar-Dan-Yal-Aye-Wa-Yal-Da-Tha-Yal ( my, အာဒမ်ရယ်၊ ဧဝရယ်၊ ဒဿရယ်) is a 2011 Burmese drama film produced by Heart & Soul Film Production. Maung Wunna (filmmaker)
Maung Wunna ( my, မောင် ဝဏ္ဏ, 19 January 1947 – 11 January 2011) was a two-time Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards-winning Burmese director and writer. He came from a family heavily involved in the entertainment industry—his father Thadu was a director and his brother Thu Maung was a prominent singer and actor and Min Lu was a reputed satirist. Civil Disobedience Movement
The Salt March, also known as the Salt Satyagraha, Dandi March and the Dandi Satyagraha, was an act of nonviolent civil disobedience in colonial India led by Mahatma Gandhi. The twenty-four day march lasted from 12 March to 6 April 1930 as a direct action campaign of tax resistance and nonviolent protest against the British salt monopoly. Another reason for this march was that the Civil Disobedience Movement needed a strong inauguration that would inspire more people to follow Gandhi's example. Gandhi started this march with 78 of his trusted volunteers. The march spanned , from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi, which was called Navsari at that time (now in the state of Gujarat). The State Administration Council ( my, နိုင်ငံတော်စီမံအုပ်ချုပ်ရေးကောင်စီ; abbreviated SAC or နစက) is the military junta currently governing Myanmar, established by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Min Aung Hlaing following the February 2021 coup d'état.
