Theodore Katsanevas
Theodore Katsanevas ( el, Θεόδωρος Κατσανέβας; 13 March 1947 – 8 May 2021) was a Greek academic and politician. He was a member of the Greek Parliament from 1989 to 2004 for the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PA.SO.K). In May 2013, Katsanevas founded the political party Drachmi Greek Democratic Movement Five Stars, which campaigns for Greece to abandon the euro and return to the drachma. Biography Katsanevas received his degree from the University of Piraeus. He obtained an MA from the University of Warwick and a PhD from the London School of Economics. He was a professor of labour economics at the University of Piraeus. In 1981, Katsanevas was among the authors of the program for the first cabinet of Andreas Papandreou and he was first appointed to the Manpower Employment Organisation (OAED, ), then in 1985 to the state welfare agency. Athens B (Hellenic Parliament Constituency)
Athens B (Athens Beta; el, Β΄ Αθηνών) was a List of parliamentary constituencies of Greece, parliamentary constituency in Attica (region), Attica represented in the Hellenic Parliament. It covered a large part of urban area of Athens outside the Athens#Athens Municipality, Municipality of Athens, which forms the Athens A constituency. It was established in 1958, to separate the working-class districts from central Athens and reduce the electoral power of the then United Democratic Left, and was abolished in 2018. As of September 2015, with 1.4 million registered voters, Athens B elected 44 Member of Parliament, Members of Parliament (MPs) by Proportional representation, reinforced proportional representation and was the largest constituency in Greece. Greece faced a sovereign debt crisis in the aftermath of the financial crisis of 2007–2008. The Greek Wikipedia (also Hellenic Wikipedia, Elliniki Vikipedia, el, Ελληνική Βικιπαίδεια) is the Greek language, Greek-language edition of Wikipedia, the free online encyclopedia. It was started on December 1, 2002. It surpassed the 10,000 article mark on May 16, 2006, the 100,000 article mark on April 9, 2014, and the 200,000 article mark on November 27, 2021. Georgios Papandreou ( ''Geórgios Papandréou''; 13 February 1888 – 1 November 1968) was a Greek politician, the founder of the Papandreou political dynasty.
