Thena (Marvel Cinematic Universe)
Thena (born Azura) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is a member of the Eternals, a race of superhumans in the Marvel Universe. She first appeared in the 1976–78 comic book series ''The Eternals''. She was also a member of Heroes for Hire. Angelina Jolie portrays Thena in the 2021 Marvel Cinematic Universe film '' Eternals''. Publication history Thena first appeared in ''The Eternals'' #5 (November 1976). Marvel Comics continuity was later retconned so that the character presented as the mythological god Minerva, introduced in ''Red Raven Comics'' #1 (August 1940), was, in fact, Thena. The character appeared in the ongoing series ''The Eternals'', written by Jack Kirby and later in a ''Thor'' storyline that ran from ''Thor'' #291-301,. Daniel Acuña
Daniel Acuña (born 1974) is a Spanish comic book artist. Early life In college, Daniel Acuña studied painting and graduated with a degree in Fine Arts. He cites his early influences as Jack Kirby, the Romitas ( Senior and Junior), Will Eisner, Simon Bisley, Kevin Nowlan, Hal Foster, and his favorite, Richard Corben, along with fine artists such as Edward Hopper, and Alfons Mucha, as well as illustrator Drew Struzan. Career His first published work was a 22-page black and white project, ''Claus & Simon in Hollywood'', with fellow artist Santi Arcas, which was bought by Spanish publisher La Cupula when Acuña was 22. This work was followed by ''Claus & Simon: Freakshow'', and ''Claus & Simon: Disaster Box''. The "Claus & Simon" series is about the adventures of a clown and an anthropomorphic dinosaur. Don Markstein's Toonopedia
Don Markstein's Toonopedia (subtitled A Vast Repository of Toonological Knowledge) is an online encyclopedia of print cartoons, comic strips and animation, initiated February 13, 2001. Donald D. Markstein, the sole writer and editor of Toonopedia, termed it "the world's first hypertext encyclopedia of toons" and stated, "The basic idea is to cover the entire spectrum of American cartoonery." Markstein began the project during 1999 with several earlier titles: he changed Don's Cartoon Encyberpedia (1999) to Don Markstein's Cartoonopedia (2000) after learning the word "Encyberpedia" had been trademarked. During 2001, he settled on his final title, noting, "Decided (after thinking about it for several weeks) to change the name of the site to Don Markstein's Toonopedia, rather than Cartoonopedia. Sal Buscema (; ; born Silvio Buscema, January 26, 1936) is an American comics artist, primarily for Marvel Comics, where he enjoyed a ten-year run as artist of ''The Incredible Hulk'' and an eight-year run as artist of ''The Spectacular Spider-Man''.
