The X-Files Mythology, Volume 1 – Abduction
Volume 1 of ''The X-Files Mythology'' collection is a DVD release containing selected episodes from the first to the third seasons of the American science fiction television series ''The X-Files''. The episodes collected in the release form the beginning of the series' mythology, and are centred on alien abduction at the hands of " colonists". Several of the elements introduced in the collected episodes arose through necessity during production, as working around the pregnancy of lead actress Gillian Anderson led to both the creation of unifying plot thread and the introduction of several recurring characters. The episodes in the collection follow the investigations of paranormal-related cases, or X-Files, by FBI Special Agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson). Volume 2 of ''The X-Files Mythology'' collection is the second DVD release containing selected episodes from the third to the fifth seasons of the American science fiction television series ''The X-Files''. The episodes collected in the release form the middle of the series' mythology, and are centered on the discovery of a mind-altering extraterrestrial " black oil". The collection contains five episodes from the third season, eight from the fourth season, and two from the fifth. The episodes follow the investigations of paranormal-related cases, or X-Files, by FBI Special Agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully ( Gillian Anderson). Mitch Pileggi (born April 5, 1952) is an American actor. He played Horace Pinker in '' Shocker'', Walter Skinner on ''The X-Files'', Colonel Steven Caldwell on ''Stargate Atlantis'', Ernest Darby in ''Sons of Anarchy'', and Harris Ryland in the TNT revival of ''Dallas'' (2012–2014). James Wong (producer)
James Wong (born April 20, 1959) is a Hong Kong-born American television producer, writer, and film director. Wong is best known for co-writing episodes of the Fox science fiction supernatural drama series ''The X-Files'' with his partner, Glen Morgan. Morgan and Wong are founders of the Hard Eight Pictures and co-created '' Space: Above and Beyond''. Wong also directed the films ''Final Destination'', ''The One'', and ''Dragonball Evolution''. Glen Morgan (born July 12, 1961) is an American television producer, writer and director. He is best known for co-writing episodes of the Fox science fiction supernatural drama series ''The X-Files'' with his partner, James Wong. He served as an executive producer on the show's eleventh season. He also executive produced ''The Twilight Zone'' reboot by Jordan Peele's Monkeypaw Productions. Early life Morgan resided in Syracuse, New York, before moving to El Cajon, California at the age of 14. The Lone Gunmen

Deep Throat (The X-Files)
Deep Throat is a fictional character on the American science fiction television series ''The X-Files''. He serves as an informant, leaking information to FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder to aid Mulder's investigation of paranormal cases, dubbed X-Files. Introduced in the series' second episode, also named " Deep Throat", the character was killed off during the first season finale "The Erlenmeyer Flask"; however, he later made several appearances in flashbacks and visions. In the season 11 episode "This", his real name is ostensibly revealed to be Ronald Pakula. The character of Deep Throat was portrayed by Jerry Hardin in all his appearances.
