''The Wooden Box'' ( es, La caja, links=no) is a 2006 Spanish-Portuguese black comedy film directed and written by Juan Carlos Falcón in his directorial feature debut which stars Ángela Molina, Elvira Mínguez, Antonia San Juan, Vladimir Cruz, and María Galiana. Plot Set in a Canarian village in 1965, the plot follows Eloísa, a widow who sets a makeshift wake for her deceased husband Don Lucio (with whom all the locals have scores to settle) in the residence of her friend Isabel. Ángela Molina
Ángela Molina Tejedor (born 5 October 1955) is a Spanish actress. Aside from her performances in Spanish films, she has starred in multiple international productions, particularly in a number of Italian films and television series. Family Molina was born in Madrid on 5 October 1955, the daughter of singer Antonio Molina and Ángela Tejedor. Her siblings , Mónica and are also actors. Another of her siblings, , is a composer. The Montreal World Film Festival (WFF; french: le Festival des Films du Monde) was one of Canada's oldest international film festivals and the only competitive film festival in North America accredited by the FIAPF (although the Toronto International Film Festival is North America's only accredited non-competitive festival). Luis García-Berlanga Martí (12 June 1921 – 13 November 2010) was a Spain , Spanish film director and screenwriter. Acclaimed as a pioneer of modern Spanish cinema, his films are marked by social satire and acerbic critiques of Spanish culture under the Francoist Spain, Francoist dictatorship. Life and career When he was young, Berlanga decided to study law and then philosophy, but in 1947 he decided to enter the Institute of Cinematographic Investigations and Experiences (Instituto de Investigaciones y Experiencias Cinematográficas) in Madrid.
