The Wooden Birds
The Wooden Birds was a band from Austin, Texas (with members also in Brooklyn, NY), led by American Analog Set frontman, Andrew Kenny, formed in 2008. The band's final lineup, which Andrew Kenny introduced on stage as the "Hometown Fantasy Band", was Leslie Sisson ( Western Keys, American Analog Set guest artist, Matt Pond PA) on lead guitar/vocals, and Sean Haskins on drums. Their debut full-length album ''Magnolia'' was released on Barsuk Records (United States/Canada) and Morr Music (Europe) in 2009. ''Magnolia'' received attention from such publications as Pitchfork Media, ''Spin'', and ''The Washington Post'', with the track "Sugar" earning NPR's "Song of the Day." The Clientele
The Clientele is a London-based indie pop band, formed in 1991. The band is currently composed of lead singer/guitarist Alasdair MacLean, drummer Mark Keen and bassist James Hornsey. Since its inception, the Clientele has released eight full-length albums and five EPs. The band have toured extensively in the United States, where they have experienced more success than in their native Britain. They are currently signed to Merge Records, an independent record label based out of North Carolina. History MacLean and Hornsey both grew up in Hampshire, England, and began collaborating musically while still in school, after MacLean saw that Hornsey had written the name of the band Felt on his pencil case. Her Space Holiday is the recording moniker of indietronic and indie rock artist Marc Bianchi. History Marc Bianchi began as a musician in the California hardcore scene. He was a part of Indian Summer and Mohinder before assuming the moniker "Her Space Holiday" in 1996. Initially, Bianchi was not interested in releasing Her Space Holiday's first works, as he was focused on launching the bands associated with his new (now defunct) record label Audio Information Phenomena. The Album Leaf is an American musical project founded in San Diego, California, in 1998 by Jimmy LaValle. He is known for his use of electronics, synthesizer, and Rhodes piano. Insound was a discounted, online music store. Insound carried CD, vinyl, hard to find items, music accessories and merchandise. The company was located in New York, New York. History Insound was founded in 1998 by Christian Anthony, Matt Wishnow and Ari Sass. Wishnow and Sass had worked together at Elektra.
