David Gordon Green
David Gordon Green is an American filmmaker. He directed the dramas ''George Washington'' (2000), ''All the Real Girls'' (2003), and '' Snow Angels'' (2007), as well as the thriller '' Undertow'' (2004), all of which he wrote or co-wrote. In 2008, Green transitioned into comedy, directing the films ''Pineapple Express'' (2008), ''Your Highness'' and ''The Sitter'' (both 2011). He returned to his dramatic roots with the independent films ''Prince Avalanche'' and ''Joe'' (both 2013), followed by the films ''Manglehorn'' (2014), '' Our Brand Is Crisis'' (2015), and '' Stronger'' (2017). Slasher Film
A slasher film is a genre of horror films involving a killer stalking and murdering a group of people, usually by use of bladed or sharp tools like knife, chainsaw, scalpel, etc. Although the term "slasher" may occasionally be used informally as a generic term for any horror film involving murder, film analysts cite an established set of characteristics which set slasher films apart from other horror subgenres, such as monster movies, splatter films, supernatural and psychological horror films.
