The Voice (Russia, Season 4)
The fourth season of the Russian reality talent show ''The Voice'' premiered on September 4, 2015 on Channel One. Dmitry Nagiev returned as the show's presenter. Alexander Gradsky returned as coach. Basta, Polina Gagarina, and Grigory Leps replaced Dima Bilan, Pelageya, and Leonid Agutin as coaches. Hieromonk Fotiy was announced the winner on December 25, 2015, marking Grigory Leps first win as a coach and the first new coach to win. For the first time ever, the final two artists were both male. Coaches and presenter The coaching panel saw a change for the first time since the start of the show. Joining coach Alexander Gradsky was Basta, Polina Gagarina and Grigory Leps. Dima Bilan, Pelageya and Leonid Agutin were substituted in order to focus on their music careers. However, Bilan and Agutin will be returning in the following season. Vasiliy Mikhaylovich Vakulenko (russian: Василий Михайлович Вакуленко; born 20 April 1980), better known by stage name Basta, and also known as Noggano, is a Russian rapper, producer and radio host. In January 2023, Ukraine imposed sanctions on Vasiliy for his support of 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Biography Basta's father was an army officer who had served in Belarus during the 1980s. He studied at the local musical college, but did not graduate. Basta first began to write rap songs between the ages of 15–16. In 1997, he joined the rap group Psycholyric, which he later renamed Kasta. In 1998, he recorded his first solo single "Моя Игра" (Moya Igra/My Game). Sevak Khanagyan ( hy, Սևակ Խանաղյան, russian: Севак Тигранович Ханагян, Sevak Tigranovich Khanagyan; born 28 July 1987) is a Russian-Armenian singer and songwriter. Khanagyan came to prominence while competing in season four of ''The Voice of Russia'' in 2015, and he later won season seven of '' X-Factor Ukraine'' the following year.
