''The Trial of Davros'' is a theatrical production featuring characters from the long-running British BBC science fiction television programme ''Doctor Who''. It was written by Kevin Taylor and Michael Wisher foHyde Fundraisers a group of science fiction fans who make and appear in replica costumes from TV series and films such as Doctor Who and ''Star Wars'' to raise funds for various charities. The play was performed twice; in 1993 and 2005. The second production was performed with the agreement and backing of both the BBC and the estate of screenwriter Terry Nation, the creator of the Davros character. Synopsis The action takes place within the immediate continuity of the ''Doctor Who'' serial ''Genesis of the Daleks''. ''Day of the Daleks'' is the first serial of the ninth season of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which was first broadcast in four weekly parts from 1 to 22 January 1972. Since their first appearance in 1963 there have been a number of variant models of the Daleks, a fictional alien race in the BBC science fiction television programme ''Doctor Who''. Ogron
Ogrons are a fictional extraterrestrial race from the British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. Ogrons are low-intelligence, ape-like hominids who live in scattered communities on the rocky planet Ograviss, on the outer fringes of the Milky Way, far from the central spaceways. The dominant lifeform on their home planet is a giant slug-like lizard named the Eater, which preys on and is prayed to by the Ogrons. Ogrons are hired mercenaries. Brian Reginald Miller (born 17 April 1941) is a British actor and television personality. He is known for his music and television appearances. Miller was married to Elisabeth Sladen, who was a recurring cast member on the BBC show ''Doctor Who'' and also in her own spin off series '' The Sarah Jane Adventures''. Career Miller and his wife, Elisabeth Sladen, moved to Liverpool after she left ''Doctor Who'' and they performed in a series of plays. Death To The Daleks
''Death to the Daleks'' is the third serial of the 11th season of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which was first broadcast in four weekly parts on BBC1 from 23 February to 16 March 1974. In the serial, the Daleks and a human expedition both arrive on the planet Exxilon to seek a mineral found in abundance there.
