The Tower SP
''The Tower SP'' is a 2005 construction and management simulation video game for the Game Boy Advance. It is a port and revision of ''SimTower'' (1994), known as ''The Tower'' in Japan, with some elements of '' Yoot Tower'' (1998). In the game, the player is tasked to construct a tower for their company boss, Yama. Differences with ''SimTower'' In ''The Tower SP'', perhaps due to the limitations of the Game Boy Advance's system, the "Tower" status (the highest available tower rating) is obtained with a population of 2,000 people; a goal which is quite hard considering the height limit for the building is 50 floors(35 floors for the commercial tower) and a certain foundation width. Vivarium Inc. is a Japanese video game developer founded in 1996 by company president Yoot Saito. It is famous for designing innovative video games which use voice recognition technology. ''Project Highrise'' is a 2D tower-building simulation game, developed by SomaSim and published by Kasedo Games. It is considered by many to be the spiritual successor to '' SimTower''. In the game, players take on the role of a high-rise manager who is responsible for building and maintaining a tower block, filling it with offices, apartments, shops and restaurants, which they support with utilities, while providing specialized services and fulfilling certain conditions in order to keep the residents and tenants of the building satisfied. The game was released worldwide on September 8, 2016, through online digital distribution platforms, and has received generally positive reviews.
