''The Temper Trap'' is the second studio album by the Australian indie rock band of the same name, The Temper Trap, released in Australia through Liberation Music on 18 May 2012. A deluxe edition of the album was also released on iTunes Store, containing three bonus tracks: "Want", "The Trouble with Pain" and "Everybody Leaves in the End". It is the band's first album as a five-piece since Joseph Greer was added as a permanent member of the band. Singles * " Need Your Love" was released for streaming and purchase from digital outlets on 23 March 2012, being officially released on 7 May. A video was released for the song before its release date on 13 April 2012. * "Trembling Hands" was announced as the second single from the album and it was released as a hype single, released the week before the album's release on 9 May 2012. The Temper Trap
The Temper Trap are an Australian indie rock band formed in 2005 by Dougy Mandagi, Jonathon Aherne, and Toby Dundas. In 2008, the group relocated from Melbourne to London. The band released their debut album '' Conditions'' in June 2009 to favourable reviews and commercial success; it peaked at No. 9 on the ARIA Albums Chart and into the top 30 on the UK Albums Chart. Its lead single, "Sweet Disposition", peaked in the top 10 on the Ultratop, Belgian, Irish Singles Chart, Irish and UK Singles Charts and reached No. 14 on the ARIA Singles Chart. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2010 in November, The Temper Trap won Best Group and Most Popular Australian Single for "Sweet Disposition". Alexis Petridis ( el, Αλέξης Πετρίδης; born 13 September 1971) is a British journalist, head rock and pop critic for the UK newspaper ''The Guardian'', as well as a regular contributor to the magazine '' GQ''. In addition to his music journalism for the paper, he has written a weekly column in the fashion section of ''The Guardian'' Weekend section, as well as contributing to its "Lost in Showbiz" column. Of Greek descent, Petridis was born in Sunderland in the north of England, but grew up in Silsden, near Keighley in Yorkshire. The family later moved to Buckinghamshire. "Bedshaped" is a song by English rock band Keane, released as the third single from ''Hopes and Fears''. It became their third consecutive top-10 hit on the UK Singles Chart, after "Somewhere Only We Know" and "Everybody's Changing", peaking at number 10. The song also reached the top 20 in Denmark and the Netherlands. Background and meaning "Bedshaped" was composed in 2001 by Tim Rice-Oxley. Keane are an English alternative rock band from East Sussex, formed in 1995. They met while at Tonbridge School together.
