History The party was founded in 2020 by Mwangi Kiunjuri, who was the former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary dropped from the cabinet by President Uhuru Kenyatta. Mwangi Kiunjuri
Kiunjuri Festus Mwangi (born January 18, 1968) is a Kenyan politician. He was born in kenju village in Kangema constituency, Muranga county. He has held various political and government positions with his most recent role being the CS agriculture. A section of the mt kenya region believe he Is among, if not , uhuru's successor as the region's leader and spokesperson. Political life Kiunjuri has served as an elected Member of Parliament and has also served in the Kenyan cabinet in various capacities. His last appointment was as Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Irrigation, a position he was appointed to by H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2018 and relieved on 14 January 2020 n. Uhuru Kenyatta
Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta (born 26 October 1961) is a Kenyan politician who served as the fourth president of Kenya from 2013 to 2022. 2022 Kenyan General Election
General elections are scheduled to be held in Kenya on 9 August 2022. Voters will elect the President, members of the National Assembly and Senate, county governors and members of the 47 county assemblies. Background The Constitution of Kenya requires that a general election of members of parliament to be held on the second Tuesday in August in every fifth year, which means that the next general election is scheduled for 9 August 2022. Kenya Kwanza ( Swahili: "Kenya First") is a Kenyan political alliance currently headed by William Ruto. The political coalition currently forms the majority side in both the National Assembly as well as the Senate of Kenya. It was formed in the run-up to the 2022 Kenyan general elections by its three founding parties UDA, Amani National Congress and FORD–Kenya.
