''The Santa Clause 2'' is a 2002 American Christmas comedy film directed by Michael Lembeck in his directorial debut. It is a sequel to ''The Santa Clause'' (1994) and the second installment in ''The Santa Clause'' franchise. Michael Lembeck
Michael Lembeck (born June 25, 1948) is an American actor and television and film director. Best known as Max Horvath in '' One Day at a Time'' (1979-1984). Life and career Lembeck was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Caroline Dubs and Harvey Lembeck, an actor and comedian. His parents practiced the Jewish faith. He began acting in the late 1960s and directing in the 1970s. His most notable acting role was as Julie Cooper ( Mackenzie Phillips)'s husband, Max Horvath, on the sitcom '' One Day at a Time''. He played newscaster Clete Meizenheimer on the series ''Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman''. In 1975, he appeared on ''Barney Miller'' in the episode "Hair" as Officer Guardeno. Adam Greenberg, A.S.C. (Hebrew: אדם גרינברג) is a retired Israeli-American cinematographer noted for his work in his native Israel and the United States, including several films starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Greenberg has collaborated with numerous well-known and acclaimed filmmakers, including James Cameron, Andrew Davis, Kathryn Bigelow, David Perlov, and Ivan Reitman. ''The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause'' is a 2006 American Christmas comedy film directed by Michael Lembeck. It is the third installment in ''The Santa Clause'' franchise, following '' The Santa Clause'' (1994) and '' The Santa Clause 2'' (2002). The film features Tim Allen returning as Scott Calvin, who must find a way to reverse a spell cast by Jack Frost (Martin Short) that caused him to lose his title of Santa Claus.
