The Pitch (Seinfeld)
"The Pitch" is the 43rd episode of the sitcom '' Seinfeld''. It is the third episode of the fourth season. It aired on September 16, 1992. Its original airing was as part of a one-hour episode, with " The Ticket" as the second half. In this episode, NBC executives express interest in Jerry doing a TV series, so Jerry and George work on a pitch for the proposed show. Newman is a recurring character and the main antagonist of the television show ''Seinfeld'', portrayed by Wayne Knight from 1992 until the show's finale in 1998. Asymmetric Information
In contract theory and economics, information asymmetry deals with the study of decisions in transactions where one party has more or better information than the other. Information asymmetry creates an imbalance of power in transactions, which can sometimes cause the transactions to be inefficient, causing market failure in the worst case. Examples of this problem are adverse selection, moral hazard, and monopolies of knowledge.
