The Omega Code
''The Omega Code'' is a 1999 apocalyptic thriller film directed by Rob Marcarelli, written by Stephen Blinn and Hollis Barton, and starring Casper Van Dien, Michael York, Catherine Oxenberg and Michael Ironside. The premillennialist plot revolves around a plan by the Antichrist (York) to take over the world using information hidden in the titular Bible code. The independently produced film was financed and distributed by the Trinity Broadcasting Network, whose head, televangelist Paul Crouch, wrote a novelization of the film's screenplay. The film received a limited theaterical release in the United States on October 15, 1999, grossing $12 million against a $7.2 million budget, before being released on home video by GoodTimes Entertainment. Matthew Crouch
Matthew W. "Matt" Crouch /kraʊtʃ/ (born October 26, 1961) is an American broadcaster, on-air personality, and filmmaker. A second-generation television producer and executive, he is currently president of Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), and serves as the primary host (along with his wife Laurie) of the network's flagship program ''Praise''. Personal life The younger of Paul and Jan Crouch's two children, Matt was born in Muskegon, Michigan, where his parents worked as assistant pastors at a local Assemblies of God outpost. Paul Franklin Crouch /kraʊtʃ/ (March 30, 1934 – November 30, 2013) was an American television evangelist. Crouch and his wife, Jan, founded the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) in 1973; the company has been described as "the world’s largest religious television network." Biography Crouch was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, the third son of oft-traveling Assemblies of God missionaries, Andrew F. Crouch (January 7, 1889 – June 1, 1941) and wife, the former Sara Swingle (September 26, 1891 – September 29, 1976). Crouch had two older brothers, the Rev. The Beast (Revelation)
The Beast ( grc-x-koine, Θηρίον, ) may refer to one of two beasts described in the Book of Revelation. In Revelation 13:1-10, the first beast (interpreted as the Antichrist) rises "out of the sea" and is given authority and power by the dragon. This first beast is initially mentioned in Revelation 11:7 as emerging from the abyss. World government is the concept of a single political authority with jurisdiction over all humanity.
