The Noise Revival Orchestra is an orchestral indie collective based in Austin, Texas. Formed in 2004 as a 4 piece by Nathan Felix, The Noise Revival Orchestra has grown to a 13 to 17 piece orchestra. In 2008, the band was featured on mtvU Ahead of the Curve. In 2009, The Noise Revival's "Days n Daze" was used in the PSA video foInstitute for Democratic Education in America In May 2010, Nathan Felix traveled to Denmark witThe House of Songsto participate in a three-day intensive songwriting collaboration and to perform at SPOT and Inter SPOT as part of The Austin Five. The Noise Revival Orchestra released Songs of Forgiveness in the spring of 2011 and subsequently toured Denmark, Iceland, & the Faroe Islands to support it. Andrew Shapter (December 30, 1966 – February 23, 2019) was an American film director, producer, writer and photographer. Shapter is known for his documentaries, ''Before the Music Dies'' (2006) and ''Happiness Is'' (2009), his feature film '' The Teller and the Truth'' (2015), his music videos with Willie Nelson and The Roots, and his U.N. Summit video on refugees, ''Refugees Are...'' Shapter completed cancer treatment in October 2014. The Taichung Jazz Festival () is an annual jazz music festival held in West District, Taichung, Taiwan. The main stage is typically located at Civic Square, a park within Calligraphy Greenway. History The festival started in 2003 and is held annually in October.
