The Mummy Returns
''The Mummy Returns'' is a 2001 American adventure horror film written and directed by Stephen Sommers, starring Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, John Hannah, Arnold Vosloo, Oded Fehr, Patricia Velásquez, Freddie Boath, Alun Armstrong, and Dwayne Johnson in his film acting debut. Stephen Sommers
Stephen Sommers (born March 20, 1962) is an American filmmaker, best known for big-budget action movies, such as ''The Mummy'' (1999), its sequel, ''The Mummy Returns'' (2001), ''Van Helsing'' (2004), and '' G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra'' (2009). He also directed '' The Adventures of Huck Finn'' (1993), Disney's live action version of ''Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book'' (1994) and the cult classic horror film ''Deep Rising'' (1998). Early life Stephen Sommers was born in Indianapolis, and grew up in St. Cloud, Minnesota, where he attended St. Cloud Apollo High School. Imhotep (character)
Imhotep is the main antagonist of the 1932 film ''The Mummy''. He is also the main antagonist in the 1999 remake and its 2001 sequel ''The Mummy Returns''. Sofia Boutella plays a female version of this character named Ahmanet in the 2017 reboot. Rick O'Connell
Richard "Rick" O’Connell is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the second incarnation of ''The Mummy'' franchise. He is portrayed by Brendan Fraser.
