The Medical City Clark is a tertiary care hospital at the Clark Global City in Mabalacat, Pampanga, Philippines. It is a hospital under The Medical City (TMC) which maintains a network of hospitals and clinics which are mostly based in the Philippines. History The groundbreaking ceremony for The Medical City Clark, which was attended by Philippine President Benigno Aquino III, took place on December 7, 2010. It was projected to be the second hospital in the Clark area and is intended by The Medical City (TMC) group to be their flagship hospital for the Central and Northern Luzon regions. The hospital opened in January 2015. Professional Services Inc. operating as The Medical City (TMC) is a health institution in the Philippines which maintains a network of hospitals and clinics in the Philippines. The TMC also maintains the Guam Regional Medical City in Guam and a network of clinics in the Gulf states. History The main hospital of The Medical City opened as the ABM Sison Hospital in 1967 with a change of hospital management occurring in 1969.The health facility was renamed as "The Medical City" or TMC in 1975. Clark Global City (formerly the Global Gateway Logistics City) is a planned mixed-use central business district development at the Clark Freeport Zone in Mabalacat and Angeles City, Philippines. Udenna Corporation is responsible for the development of Clark Global City since 2017. Mabalacat, officially the City of Mabalacat ( pam, Lakanbalen ning Mabalacat; fil, Lungsod ng Mabalacat), is a 3rd class component city in the province of Pampanga, Philippines. The CFEZ in Pampanga covers portions of the cities of Angeles and Mabalacat and portions of the town of Porac while parts of the area in Tarlac include portions of the towns of Capas and Bamban, Tarlac. The 2019 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 30th Southeast Asian Games, or the 30th SEA Games, and commonly known as Philippines 2019, was the 30th edition of the Southeast Asian Games, a biennial regional multi-sport event which was held in the Philippines from 30 November to 11 December 2019.
