The Masked Singer (Belgian Season 2)
The second season of The Masked Singer based on the '' Masked Singer'' franchise which originated from the South Korean version of the show ''King of Mask Singer''. It premiered on VTM on 14 January 2022 and is hosted by Niels Destadsbader. The season was won by singer Camille Dhont as "Miss Kitty", with singer Loredana finishing second as "Knight", and party chairman Conner Rousseau placing third as "Rabbit". The second season started successfully. Highlights in this season was the unmasking of Johnny Logan, the first international contestant outside of the Benelux, and the unexpected unmasking of Robots in the fifth episode, one of the favorites of the public. The first duo ever in the Belgian series, Robots, turned out to be reallife partners Lize Feryn & Aster Nzeyimana. Another reallife couple, Tine Embrechts and Guga Baúl participated, not in duo but with the matching characters Flamme Fatale and Ice King, representing the elements fire and ice. Niels Destadsbader (born 19 August 1988) is a Belgian singer, television presenter and actor. Biography Niels Destadsbader had roles in several Belgian TV shows including Amika, De Elfenheuvel and F.C. De Kampioenen. Destadsbader presented many programs such as Dansdate, K3 zoekt K3, De Wensboom and many more. He released his debut album ‘Speeltijd’ on October 21st 2016. Bart August Maria Peeters (born 30 November 1959) is a Belgian singer, musician, television presenter and actor. Biography Early years Peeters studied Germanic philology and drama in Antwerp. There, he met Jan Leyers and Hugo Matthysen, with whom he worked later. In 1972, Peeters, still a teenager, played the title role in teen drama ''Bart Banninks''. "Levitating" is a song by English-Albanian singer Dua Lipa from her second studio album, '' Future Nostalgia'' (2020). The song was written by Lipa, Clarence Coffee Jr., Sarah Hudson, and Koz, who produced the song with Stuart Price, and stemmed from a Roland VP-330 synthesizer sample played by Koz. The song is an electro-disco and nu-disco song with several disco tropes. An Lemmens (born 8 September 1980) is a television and radio presenter at VTM/ 2BE/Studio Brussel and a former VJ on TMF Belgium. Career Lemmens, while studying to be a veterinary assistant, was discovered by television broadcast network TMF in 2003. She presented several programs and award shows and became the broadcaster's leading host from 2003 until 2007. Stan Van Samang (born 19 March 1979 in Wijgmaal, Leuven) is a Belgian actor and singer. Career He played the role of 'Kevin' in one of Flanders' famous soaps called ''Wittekerke''. Bart Kaëll (born 2 August 1960 in Oudenaarde) is the stage name of Bart Marcel Emilienne Gyselinck, a Flemish singer and TV host. Career Kaëll studied music in Antwerp, after finishing school he landed a job as a singer and in 1982 he took part in the ''Baccara-beker'', which he won.
