The Majestic Majesty
''The Majestic Majesty'' is the acoustic accompaniment to Portugal. The Man's fourth full-length album ''The Satanic Satanist'' and features all of the album's songs performed acoustically, except the track "Let You Down." This release marks the first official release of any acoustic Portugal. The Man songs, often requested by fans and something for which the band had been renowned. The album's artwork is a contour line drawing of the artwork for The Satanic Satanist, itself a watercolor by the band's lead singer, John Gourley The album was released digitally, and made available to purchase through the band's merchnow store, and the iTunes and Amazon music stores in the deluxe version of The Satanic Satanist. It was also given away to those who pre-ordered ''The Satanic Satanist''. It received a vinyl release courtesy of Suburban Home Records. Psychedelic Folk
Psychedelic folk (sometimes acid folk or freak folk) is a loosely defined form of psychedelia that originated in the 1960s. It retains the largely acoustic instrumentation of folk, but adds musical elements common to psychedelic music. Acoustic music is music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means. While all music was once acoustic, the retronym "acoustic music" appeared after the advent of electric instruments, such as the electric guitar, electric violin, electric organ and synthesizer. Acoustic string instrumentations had long been a subset of popular music, particularly in folk. It stood in contrast to various other types of music in various eras, including big band music in the pre-rock era, and electric music in the rock era. Equal Vision Records
Equal Vision Records is an independent record label based in Albany, New York. It was founded in the early 1990s by Ray Cappo, singer for the punk bands Youth of Today, Shelter, and Better Than a Thousand. The label originally existed solely to distribute Shelter and other Krishna releases. In 1992, label manager Steve Reddy bought Equal Vision from Cappo. The focus was expanded and a wider variety of bands were brought on board. According to ''Punk News'', the mid-to-late '90s saw a redoubling of the Equal Vision's hardcore efforts with such signings as One King Down and Ten Yard Fight. By the end of the '90s Equal Vision Records (EVR) had a stable of hardcore and punk bands, having added Bane, Trial, Converge and Saves the Day to its roster in the latter part of the decade. ''The Satanic Satanist'' is the fourth studio album by American rock band Portugal. The Man. The album's artwork is a combination of photographs and watercolor illustrations by lead singer John Gourley. On June 1, 2009, the band released the song "People Say" for free download on their official website. On June 24, 2009, the album leaked on the Internet. Lead singer John Gourley posted a blog entry regarding the leak on the band's official website. The statement encouraged fans to download the album, but to also support the band and purchase the record upon release if enjoyed. The CD version is limited to 15,000 copies. ''American Ghetto'' was created in just 10 days. The Rolling Stones

''Their Satanic Majesties Request'' is the 6th British and 8th American studio album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, released in December 1967 by Decca Records in the UK and by London Records in the US. It is their first to be released in identical versions in both countries. The album's title is a play on the "Her Britannic Majesty requests and requires..." text that appears inside a British passport. The band experimented with a psychedelic music, psychedelic sound on ''Satanic Majesties'', incorporating unconventional elements such as Mellotron, sound effects, string arrangements, and Rhythm in Sub-Saharan Africa, African rhythms.
